Phuket 2014 - Day 1

So, this year, is the 8th time that i will be going to phuket, and my 7th time staying there.  Phuket is good enough for as the flight is like 1hr 20-30min, and things are quite affordable there. There is beach, sun and sands. A true holiday for me.
We bought our jetstar tickets via the friday  sale, it cost us $112 per person for a return flight without luggage and payment via SAM without other convenience  charges.

From the airport, we normally take a mini bus, about 180 baht( SGD $7 ) to patong area. Taxi cost about 800 baht during low season, from the airport to patong area.

Mini bus - is a shared bus with about 10 people going towards patong, karon and kata area. They will drop the passenger in their destinated hotel, it usually take a bit longer than private taxi but you can see see around for others hotel.

This is our 3rd time staying at APK resort and Spa, this time, we decided to go for additional 3m2, deluxe room. It cost us 5400 baht for 6 nights, roughly $35 a night for a 28m2 square place. Is 3-5min to junceylon shopping center, 8-10min walking to patong beach, 5 min to bang-la street. It a comfortable place to rest, if you do not need any service or wifi in room.
The air-condition lobby that you can use the wifi,

Clean and comfortable room, good for resting.

The extra 3m2 but is a corner unit with amazing view, layout and space.
The additional space at the balcony, great to chill and look at the view, but can be quite windy and dirty.
This time round, we stayed on the 6th floor which have quite amazing view compared to the last 2 times we stayed.

Next up, is junceylon shopping center.

Been craving for the nutella ice cream.

Zewlpink had his mango ice cream with sticky rice.
Next up, is our favourite massage place, Montra at the basement of Junceylon Shopping center. Is good, affordable and not slezzy. There is 3 montra in the mall, the spa version, which is more expesive and atas is at the 3rd level of the mall, one is beside the basement food court, the other one near to the carpark ( which we prefer ) but is under renovation currently.

The must go, the night marlet out Banzaar, opp Junceylon Mcdonald, offer cheap and nice food from the evening. I love noodle soup with chicken.
                                                     Meena fried chicken.
and many other food... which i had no time to take picture as i was too hungry.

Lovely Day 1 of #ourphuketrip 2014.
